About Mountaineering

Loughborough Students' Mountaineering Club regularly climb at The Climbing Station in Loughborough, alongside organising many off-campus trips including to North Wales, Lake District, Peak District, Scotland and Pembroke. The club offers a wide range of mountaineering disciplines including bouldering, sport and trad climbing, hiking, scrambling, winter mountaineering and more. The club is led by our more experienced members, who we support through relevant qualifications. We are able to cater for beginners or regular climbers and compete in BUCS. The club also holds regular social events including sober socials so members can get to know eachother better.
