Plans

A Club Development Plan is simply a written document that outlines what a club wants to achieve in particular development areas. It also includes all other relevant information to provide context to the person reading it.

The document should be used as a guiding framework and a tool to track progress against what was originally identified as needing changing or creating. It should also be written so that anyone can read it and understand the objectives of the club, why they exist, and how the club plan to achieve these goals.

The Athletic Union have created a template document that can be used as a Club Development Plan, and it can be downloaded here. There is also a written guide and will be a workshop open to all clubs to assist them in using this template, and also how to begin writing it.

For clubs on the Development Programme, their respective Mentor will also be able to assist in the initial writing of this document.
